Who operates the game
Dots & Boxes is operated by Stone Pack Entertainment LLC. Questions about this policy can be sent to stonepackentertainment@gmail.com.
Information used
Meta provides the game with your Instant Games player ID, display name, and game context. Your display name is used in the game interface. The multiplayer server stores player IDs, context IDs, ordered moves, match status, revision numbers, and creation and update times. Scores and turns are calculated from the stored moves.
Why information is used
This information authenticates players, limits each match to its participants, validates moves, saves asynchronous games, detects conflicting updates, and lets players return later to continue a match.
Service providers
Meta processes information needed to operate Facebook Instant Games under Meta's own terms and privacy policy. Cloudflare hosts the game server and D1 database for Stone Pack Entertainment LLC. The current prototype has no developer-operated advertising, analytics, or purchases, and Stone Pack Entertainment LLC does not sell game data.
Retention
A multiplayer match is automatically deleted 180 days after its last activity. Making a move or otherwise updating a match restarts that period.
Deletion
You can delete your multiplayer data immediately from the game home screen under Privacy & data. Because matches are shared, deletion removes every match connected to your player ID for all participants and cannot be undone. See the data-deletion instructions for exact steps.
Policy changes
This page will be updated before the game's data practices materially change.
